Shakespeare in the Parks
Every August we look forward to the incredible production Montana Shakespeare in the Parks puts on in the Historical Village. Back in the 1990s, the very first year Sunburst started in the Tobacco Valley, someone suggested they bring in this remarkable troupe. And we have - every year thanks to sponsors like Interbel and Lincoln Electric plus generous donations from the audience! We all enjoy sitting on the lawn watching the magic unfold on the stage.
This year, the group will be bringing “Much Ado About Nothing” to us on Saturday, August 15.
Show starts at 5pm, free admission!
Dinner will start at 4pm.
Much Ado About Nothing speaks to the joy and uncertainty of love, reputation, and the ways that community shapes our understanding of one another. This lively comedy unfolds in the aftermath of war, where returning soldiers and welcoming hosts find themselves drawn into courtship, clever schemes, and shifting perceptions. Among a vibrant cast of characters, Shakespeare explores how easily we can be misled, and how resilience, honesty, and grace can restore both trust and connection.
Directed by Johamy Morales.
