Here is a short biography on Gail’s Art:

"After teaching herself to weld, Gail began using the leftover shoes to create decorations and yard art. As her skills developed and her creativity blossomed creating art from the discarded shoes and scrap metal of every description the demand for her creations grew. These creations help capture and honor the legacy of three generations of packers and outfitters, thousands of pounds of supplies transported by horses and mules, and countless trail crews, fire crews and back country personnel supplied with essential materials. Each Wilderness Worn creation carries with it a legacy of goods transported, personnel supported, new packers trained, community education and the continuing development of our National Forests and Montana. "
