Sunburst Arts is excited to be bringing the Missoula Children’s Theater to Eureka again this year during the week of November 2- November 7. This year’s performance will be The Frog Prince. Auditions will be held on Monday, 11-2-26 at 3:45 pm in the LCHS Auditorium. There are roles for students in grades K-12. Approximately 50-60 local students will be cast to appear in the show with the MCT Tour Actors and there are spots for student stages managers. There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition must arrive by the scheduled starting time and stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 15 minutes after the audition. This is a group audition -no advance preparation is necessary, but a smile never hurts! Students should just be ready to come and have a good time! When the roles are distributed, please add your child’s name to a list we will provide with their role! Julia Higgins, our Arts Director, will be there to help.

Rehearsals will be conducted Monday - Thursday from 3:45-5:45 and 6:00-8:00 and on Friday from 3:45-6:45 and 7:00-8:00 pm at the LCHS Auditorium. Not all cast members will be needed at every session, but those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role and be available for both performances. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition. Cast members scheduled for the full 4 hours and 15 minutes will be asked to bring a sack lunch or snack to be eaten during the 15 minute break between sessions. The performances will be held on Saturday, November 7th at 3:00 and 5:30 pm at the LCHS Auditorium.
