An event that brings the entire community out for an evening on the lawn at the Historical Village watching an incredible troupe of actors stage a full-length Shakespeare play. This year you’ll see Measure for Measure, listed as a comedy in Shakespeare’s canon, but which also has dramatic and thematic elements relevant to the 21st century for all audiences. Of course, this is a free event thanks to the sponsorship of Lincoln Electric Cooperative and Interbel. If you come early and want dinner, Elkhorn BBQ will have delicious pork dinners for sale at the Historical Village starting at 5pm. Deep Mountain Band will provide some awesome bluegrass music prior to the play from 4:30 - 5:30pm. And Sunburst volunteers will have beverages and desserts on hand. See you at the play!
